Never use tanning beds. They are bad for your skin and age you quickly. I’m 30 and have never used one, and still get asked for ID. I have friends that have used them for years and they are orange and have bad skin. These things cause skin cancer. Steer clear and keep healthy x

depending on where you go they have age restrictions, also the lower level tanning beds usually you burn with. I use the level 3 beds which you have a 4% or 0% chance of burning. It also depends on your skin type. Call a few tanning salons in your area and ask them about their beds, about skin types, stuff like that. Whoever is worried the most about the skin type you are and what bed is needed for your type is where I would go. Get a good lotion and never go without putting one on. Depending on your skin type you will start off anywhere from 4-8 mins. Again all this depends on your skin type. Happy tanning

DO NOT GO IN TANNING BEDS!! I’m not lying to you. They cause wrinkles and much worse skin cancer. Do spray tanning and tan creams instead. Please don’t! The effects are life long

the uv rays in the tanning bed bulbs r what causes skin cancer. although it is a faster way to get tan. when i tan i usually start out at 5 minutes an then every visit increase the time u lay in there. use a good tanning lotion, there are normal kinds and some that have a tingle. australian gold works well. i use one called blazin it makes you feel sun burnt when u get out for about an hour though but the ones that get hot and tingle bring your blood cells to your surface of your skin causing you to produce a deeper darker tan. but it all depends on what you like. i usually start out going every 2 or 3 days then when i get as dark as i want i go once a week. hope this helps :)

I love to have a beautiful tan, but do not want the unattractive side effects that years in the sun can do to your skin, or tanning beds for that matter. I often switch back and forth between self tanning and spray tanning. I spent two years trying to find the perfect self tanner. I was looking for a self tanner that was bronze and natural looking, easy to apply, didn\’t streak and wasn\’t messy. Well as you can imagine finding a self tanner to meet and exceed my standards was a trying experience. I finally went to the salon that does my spray tanning and they recommended a product called Lasting Envy: Spray Tan In A Can. I took it home, stood in my shower and in under 5 minutes had a perfect self tan. This product is very similar to the spray tans one might receive in a salon but you can do it at home, yourself. When my salon is out of this product I order it direct from EnvyTan. I hope this helps all the other self tanners looking to get that perfect self tan.
